When it comes to cremation, there are a number of different service types available to you, such as:
Direct cremation is a simple, affordable, and respectful way to handle final arrangements. Unlike traditional funeral services, direct cremation involves no viewing, visitation, or ceremony prior to cremation, making it a straightforward choice for families seeking a more private or budget-friendly option. The process involves transporting the deceased to the cremation facility, where the cremation occurs shortly after all necessary legal documentation is completed. Once completed, the ashes are carefully returned to the family, allowing them to honor their loved one in their own time and way. Many families choose direct cremation because it offers flexibility in planning a personalized memorial, whether through a private gathering, scattering ashes in a meaningful location, or keeping the remains in a cherished urn.
Are you looking to have what was known as a Traditional Funeral Service but instead of ground burial, you would like to have a cremation instead? This option is perfect for that type of service. We will have a visitation period with a Church or Chapel service taking place. Instead of a procession to the gravesite, we will take the body to the crematorium after the church/chapel service.
Cremation with a Memorial Service or Celebration of Life Service combines the simplicity of cremation with the opportunity for family and friends to come together in remembrance. After the cremation, a service is held where loved ones can share stories, memories, and reflections in a setting that celebrates the individual’s life. This service is often personalized to reflect the personality, values, and passions of the departed, and may include favorite music, photographs, or symbolic rituals that honor their memory. The flexibility of a memorial or celebration of life service allows families to host it in a location of their choice, such as a funeral home, a place of worship, or a meaningful outdoor setting. This approach provides a comforting way for families and friends to say goodbye, find support in one another, and celebrate the legacy of their loved one.
